TEAM is seeking a Quality Inspector to work with our Operations team in Morristown, TN.

The role of a Quality Inspector includes collecting samples and performing quality inspections/testing of raw materials, components or finished product, providing feedback to operations of potential non-conformances and analysis results, documenting non-conformances, auditing lines for compliance to established operating procedures, work instructions, specifications and test methods ensuring production and quality records are complete and following GDP standards for medical device batch records/DMR’s.

We are looking for an individual who can:

  • Inspect raw materials, components, WIP and finished products against specifications
  • Performs various inspection/tests using testing instruments and gages
  • Creates hold tickets (NCR’s)
  • Assist with training
  • Participates in internal audits (5S, GMP, GDP, logs, etc..)
  • Record/Document work in accordance with GDP
  • Assist in troubleshooting defects
  • Performs basic computer functions (i.e. data entry: AX, Excel, etc…)
  • Communicate with Operations of nonconformances identified and provide feedback of potential nonconformances
  • Other duties as assigned

What experience will you contribute?

  • Ability to communicate with various departments
  • Detail oriented
  • Basic computer skills – internet, email required; basic Microsoft Office experience preferred
  • Experience in a GMP regulated environment (Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Food or the Packaging thereof – preferred)
  • Experience leading Root Cause Analysis/Investigations preferred for QI II and III.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
    • QI II: Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance (not necessarily at Team Technologies)
    • QI III: Associate degree in technical discipline (preferred), ASQ certifications (CQI, CQT, etc..) or equivalent experience preferred.  Knowledge of Team Tech processes and procedures may be substituted for degree and certifications.
