Production Operator

We are hiring! TEAM is seeking Production Operators to join our team in Morristown, TN.

We have a strong need for Production Operators to join our second and third shift teams. There are openings at all facilities in Morristown, TN.

Your main objective is to run equipment and/or machinery to meet customer requests. You will be responsible for following work instructions and procedures.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Verify that the package profile/BOM/work orders at the machine match the material which are being produced.
  • Inspect and load appropriate components per profile/BOM/work order.
  • Take responsibility for completing work assignments in a timely manner while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Able to meet production goals and standards.
  • Keep your work area neat and orderly by following 5S rules to maintain a clean working environment.
  • Maintain a safety mindset to help drive a safety culture by being aware of your safety at all times and assisting in identifying improvements and assisting co-workers and leadership with maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Be able to identify issues that affect the quality of the product. Follow procedures and work instructions and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Ensure that quality requirements are met and/or exceeded.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers and members of the leadership team. Assist co-workers when needed.
  • Maintain good attendance. Your presence at work is critical to the company’s success.
  • Identify areas of improvement, propose new ideas and help to implement any changes as needed.
  • Be available to work overtime as needed and attend all required meetings/training sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What will you contribute?

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience.
  • Good listening skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to read and write
  • Be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Be able to stand on your feet or sit in one position for up to eight hours.
  • Possess manual dexterity skills (Good eye/hand coordination)
  • Work 40 hours per week and overtime as needed
  • Basic understanding or experience in an FDA regulated environment – preferred
