Medical / Chemical Laboratory Technician 3rd shift

TEAM continues to grow in the oral and healthcare markets and we are seeking individuals that want to grow with us! Position details are below:

This position is primarily responsible for collecting samples and performing quality inspections/testingof raw materials, components or finished product. This person is also responsible for providing feedback tooperations of potential non-conformances and analysis results, documentingnon-conformances, auditing lines for compliance to established operatingprocedures, work instructions, specifications and test methods.

Specific Duties include:

  • Inspect raw materials, components, WIP and finished products against specifications
  • Performs various tests using established test methods using testing instruments and gages
  • Preparing reagents/solutions using wet chemistry techniques
  • Calibrates instruments
  • Creates hold tickets (NCR’s)
  • Assist with training
  • Record/Document work in accordance with GDP
  • Troubleshooting defects
  • Performs basic computer functions (i.e. data entry: AX, Excel, etc…)
  • Communicate with operations of nonconformances identified and provide feedback of potential nonconformances
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Wet Chemistry or Biological Testing (pipetting, preparing solutions/reagents, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate with various departments
  • Detail oriented
  • Computer literate
  • Experience in a GMP regulated environment (Medical, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Food or the Packaging thereof – preferred)
  • Experience leading Root Cause Analysis / Investigations
  • Previous experience running diagnostic and immunoassays (i.e. Lateral Flow, ELISA, Western Blot, etc…)
  • Experience preparing wet formulations and dilutions of biologicals and/or chemical solutions
  • Laboratory pipetting and general wet lab techniques

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum2 years’ experience in Laboratory environment Three years’ experience related to Quality Management Systems
