Account Manager

TEAM is seeking an Account Manager to work with our group in Morristown, TN.  This position will be on-site at our Morristown, Tennessee facilities with occasional travel required.

Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all assigned customer account management matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with assigned customers.
  • Review and help negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits with oversight by commercial executive team (Commercial VP’s) and the Executive Pricing Committee.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions that are not in the formal New Project Development (NPD) process according to customer needs and objective.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives and forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within specified markets with existing customers.
  • Creation and management of project plans for new opportunities with assigned existing customers that are not in the formal NPD process.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Manages RFIN processes and ensures timely and accurate completion to specifications for projects that are not in the formal NPD process.
  • Works with other departments on Design Controls and Records for products with responsibility for ensuring process is complete and accurate in accordance with CFR 820 and ISO 13485.
  • Work with customers and internal departments to ensure pricing, product specifications, BOMs, design work, and work instructions are amended/updated, completed, and accurate per requirements.
  • Works with other internal departments to ensure materials, labor, part number creation/amendments, and production availability are prepared and completed for successful product launch/changes.
  • Works with customers to define requirements and expectations as defined by the appropriate regulatory requirements and standards for Medical Devices (i.e. CFR 820, 210-211, ISO 9001, 13485, etc.)
  • Adheres to and supports compliance with GMP requirements.
  • Create and maintain presentations for internal and external use as well as knowledge of manufacturing processes to conduct facility tours.
  • Other duties as assigned

What will you contribute?

  • Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Superior computer skills and ability to set up functions, enter data, and process information (Microsoft Office products; Excellent Excel skills required; previous ERP experience).
  • Solid experience with CRM software. Professional communication skills are essential; demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenges and needs to be addressed.
  • Travel required between Tennessee facilities and assigned customers as needed.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at one time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding or experience in an FDA regulated environment – preferred.
  • BA/BS degree in Business Management, Sales, or relevant field; previous work experience will be considered in lieu of BA/BS.
  • 3+ years previous experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role.
